Too Faced Natural Eye Palette {REVIEW}

Hey I got the review for the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette here upon request.

The palette is priced at $44 CAD at Sephora Canada. It comes with 9 eye shadows. 8 out of 9 that are highly pigmented plus a duo ended brush that has a sponge and brush tip.

The palette is divded into three rows that have Day, Classic, and Fashion looks. As well as cards to get a certain look.

Put together these create three diffrent unique looks for any occasion.

I didn't purchase the Naked palette or Naked 2 because I simply love these colours already.

It comes with a good eyeliner brush, but I couldn't care for the sponge applicator.

Behind the cover is a slot for three cards that show three different looks. Helpful if you just started out with makeup!

My favourite is Silk Teddy all over my lid to brighten it up and Push-Up in the middle of my eyes with Erotica softly blended at the end giving my eyes dimension. I wing my eyes downwards and line my lower line to connect to the bottom of my eyes with MAC fluidline gel liner with Erotica set ontop.

I'll talk about my top 3 favourite colours in the palette which are Silk Teddy, Velvot Revolver, and Sexspresso. Also, the less than average eye-shadow Nude Beach.

Silk Teddy
Smooth shimmery chamange with a pink tone. It works amazing as a highlight for the inenr corners of the eyes or for the arch under your brows and just an all over lid colour, but you woud need to wear it another colour to not have it over power your eyes unless that's the look you're looking for.

Velvot Revolver
A matte taupe that works well as crease definition, nose contouring, and a base colour. This is my personal favourite for a nose contour instead of a traditional bronzer because it just seems to work better for that purpose. I use my ELF eyeshadow brush to apply it and blend in with my ring finger or a blending brush.

Another matte that is a dark chocolate brown. I find it most useful lining the bottom of my eyes for a softer look instead of gel or liquid liner. You can use it to darken your crease, fake a crease, definition, filling in eyebrows, contour, smokey eyes, and eyeliner.

Nude Beach
This shade is an exception to all the other shades. The glitter in this is large and visible. Not pigmented unless you use it wet. If you try to use it dry, there will be fall out on you. This is the least reached for eyeshadow for me in the whole palette because I generally do not use my eyeshadpws wet.

A perfect 4 out of 5. I think it's a good purchase that I go back to everyday because it's versatile. Stay away if you are not into the neutral shades, natural look, or a soft smoky eyes. Too Faced products packaging are always amazing, I love the style so much. I think of this as an investment and this will grow on you. Initially, I bought this and did not like it, but as time wore on...I found myself to keep reaching for it.

I have mixed feelings about repurchasing this because on one hand this is a great palette and I love it. The colours give me the looks that I want and I just don't stray away. I want to keep exploring more palettes that give you more value for the price. I would repurchase out of convenience.

Sorry I took long with this, I did this upon request of a reader :).

Summer to Fall

Here is a post after the long and rigorous days at school. So much work, to do for school. Any study tips guys? Already spent a all nighter already. My chemistry teacher just loves to push and push.

I'm planning to go to University for Nursing, but I feel like it's not the choice for me. I'm scared that to fail and stressed already. To me, it's a practical choice of study. My passion lies in the Arts. Funny too because I excel at it and yet I'm here being 'all practical'. The dream is to produce art and just live off that, but it's easier to cry in an Audi than on a bus. Just a quote I remembered from a show. Odd quote, but I like it. I'm drowning in the water and I can't swim.

Hopefully I get my closet mirror doors up so I can do quick OOTD's via instagram, my camera, or videos.

Going to update my school supplies because it's been changing, I'll post the new post when I'm ready.

Finished the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette review! Now, time to find a good time to post it.

Just cancelled my phone plan! Yay! Okay, I just emailed them about requesting to cancel, but hopefully it goes over well. Going with the Samsung Galaxy S3 instead of iPhone 5 because I don't like how Apple is profit driven. They design phones that are bad for a period to just put out a better phone a few months later. This causes people to constantly purchase their product. That's consumerism for you, eh. iPhone 5 is really a let down because it's comparable to the Samsung Galaxy S2. The stuff they've added has already been out on Android phones. The selling point was that the S3 is available on the network I want while the iPhone did not. A bigger plus is there is cute cases for the S3. I hope the iPhone doesn't beat the S3 in sales because then that would mean there would be more accessories for it. If the iPhone is out, perhaps the price of the S3 will drop *wishful*.

Been loving to look at cute collar necklaces. Really makes me want to go to Forever 21 and buy this particular one. I'm not much of a costume jewellery person usually. I find myself growing to love it more and more because I of the people I follow on social media sites.

Another jewellery style I'm adoring is arm candy, but not as much as this. It's just too much. 3 to 6 at most bracelets. I would prefer 3.

I saw powder that makes your bath pink. This would motivate me to bathe more. Not that I don't bathe. You get the point, right?

Pastel Princess is just incredibly hard to do alone. I'm going to stick to my style of pale, monochromatic, floral, simple, neutrals, and feminine. My closet is a lot of salmon, blush, skintone, etc. It is variations of the shade of red and I prefer to say pink. I have never loved a colour as much as I love pink and not any pink, just the lighter spectrum of it.

Outside of that here are some of summer to fall inspirations that I'm loving... alright maybe not fall. Regardless, I love these styles or trends. I feel like I'm slow on trends, it's whatever I do not like it because it's a trend. I like it because I like it.

How is everyone, I feel like my lifespan has decreased over these past days. It could be the stress getting to me.

School Supplies

My friend asked me to do this post ASAP. Here I am with this... I hope she apperciates this. I know you're reading!

I realized I needed my calculator for my math class and outside of that perhaps a lock if I don't end up sharing with someone like I did last year. Oh and a small ruler, I forgot to put in.

Contents inside the backpack:
  • Folder with many dividers inside to keep notes and paper for each class
  • Planner
  • Lip balm tint
  • Pencil case
  • Lady pouch
  • House keys
  • Makeup pouch

I'm going to take my friend's advice about not carrying around a big binder (below). I'll leave this baby inside my locker. Take the notes with my blue folder and bring it home to copy it (also study) then put new copy in my binder for reference for exams.

What are your school supplies? Also, I have all hard courses this semester. They are AP/Academic/University level English, Data Management, Biology, and Chemistry. I'm in my last year of high school and want the good marks to get into the university I'm really hoping for and if I'm lucky maybe a scholarship too. I hope you guys understand that and I'll be posting less since most of my time will be spent studying or with my boyfriend. On another note, I'll be learning Mandarin on my own so I can get ahead since I plan to take it in University. Expect that the posts will be up less frequent and I can't keep promises. Sorry.
